When to Visit Kashmir for Holidays?
Summer Season in Kashmir (March till July, Temperature 15°C to 30°C)

Autumn is called ‘Harud’ in Kashmiri – which refers to the time of harvest, and is visually the most awe striking of all seasons. This is also the shortest of all seasons, stretching between mid-October to mid-November.
Fall creates a mystic aura in the valley with leaves bidding farewell to their various shades of green, slowly turning to golden and then reddish orange before turning brown and finally embracing the end and descending to the ground.
Winter Season In Kashmir (Mid-November To February, Temperature -4°C To 12°C)
Winter season from November to February is the best time to witness snowfall in Kashmir, during this period honeymooners usually prefer to come and you can also enjoy skiing in Gulmrg.

By Air

Some of the flights operated regularly from Srinagar airport are GoAir, IndiGo, Vistara, Spice Jet and Air India. From the airport, tourist can hire a cab to reach the desired destination in Kashmir.
By Road

NH 1-A connects Srinagar with Jammu and also the popular Jawahar Tunnel connects Jammu with Kashmir. By train
